1 ½ cups boiling water or hot liquid stock – chicken or vegetable
2 teaspoons Szechuan Spices
Salt and pepper
1 Put a tablespoon of olive oil with Szechuan spices in a saucepan and heat gently.
2Add chicken to spices and cook until half cooked.
3Add the onion, couscous, carrot, and green beans and stir for about 1 minute. Add liquid stock or boiling water, and allow it to simmer with the lid on for 8-10 minutes.
