Couscous base
  • 250 g Blu Pearl Couscous
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 ½ cups Water or stock
  • 1 cup Diced carrots
  • 1 cup Shelled peas
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Directions

  • 1Place the pearl couscous in a large microwave container. Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, curry powder, sesame oil, soy sauce, stock, carrots and peas and stir gently. Cover loosely with a lid – the steam must be able to escape a bit – and microwave on high for 9 minutes.
  • 2Allow the dish to rest for 3 minutes before serving.
